Brokerage Agreement

Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before submitting a quote request or placing a vehicle transport order.

Last Updated: August 11, 2026

1. Brokerage Role & Scope of Service

Your Transport Brokers is a licensed and bonded auto transport broker registered with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

We arrange vehicle transportation by matching customer shipments with licensed, fully insured independent motor carriers. Your Transport Brokers does not own or operate car haulers directly, but acts as your authorized agent in dispatching carriers.

2. Customer Responsibilities & Vehicle Prep

The customer agrees to properly prepare the vehicle for transport prior to pickup:

  • Remove all personal belongings, loose items, and valuables from the vehicle.
  • Ensure the fuel level is at approximately 1/4 tank for safety.
  • Deactivate all electronic toll tags, alarm systems, and parking pass devices.
  • Conduct a joint vehicle inspection with the truck driver at pickup and sign the initial Bill of Lading (BOL).

3. Pricing, Deposits & Payment Terms

Quotes are calculated based on distance, vehicle dimensions, operating condition, and current market carrier rates.

No payment is required to submit a quote request. Once a carrier is assigned, a deposit reserves your slot, with the remaining balance due to the carrier driver upon delivery via Cash, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check.

4. Carrier Liability & Insurance Coverage

All dispatched carriers in our network carry active cargo insurance coverage for vehicle transit.

In the rare event of transit damage, any damage must be noted directly on the destination Bill of Lading (BOL) during final delivery inspection before signing. Claims are processed directly against the assigned carrier's insurance policy.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your transport request at any time prior to a carrier being assigned without penalty. If a carrier has already dispatched to your location, cancellation fees may apply as dictated by the carrier agreement.
